ARC is dedicated to improving health equity and empowering through the mental and physical benefits of movement. ARC Active Resolute Connected is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit with the mission to break barriers of race, ethnicity, culture, socioeconomic status and perceived ability by supporting those who may not otherwise have access (offering both virtual training and group exercise classes) in their health and wellness journey.
Our Why
Some feel they don't belong in the health and wellness community.
Some have never had access to formal coaching or tools to help take them to the next level of their fitness journey.
Others start an exercise program and get stuck due to pain symptoms or other difficulties.
ARC helps our participants break through these barriers for lasting lifestyle changes through movement.
The ARC Virtual Program
Accepted applicants for the ARC Program are introduced to 4 core components to empower and support women for real, long-term lifestyle changes. Each cohort is assigned to mentors, coaches, and therapists on an 8-week cycle.
Virtual Coaching
All participants receive an 8-week, custom walking/movement/ or running program that is suited to each woman's needs, lifestyle, and ability level. Each participant is assigned an ARC Certified Coach to facilitate successful program completion.
Mentoring
We believe in the power of relationship and match each participant to a mentor to provide emotional and mental support during the program
Virtual Physical Therapy
We realize taking on a new level of activity may introduce aches and pains that deter participants from completing their program which is why all participants have access to virtual physical therapy by licensed ARC therapists.
Virtual Mindfulness Coaching
Mindfulness coaching is available in order to help participants process training, slow-down, and mentally recover from their program activity.
